1. Look for a relation nearby. You cannot hold someone located at 300 km away
Of course relationships based on distance look interesting, but unfortunately do not work. Why? Because it is easy for a person to show a mask for a short period of time. Someone located far away often is acting not real, like in a visit. Some of them want adventure, therefore prefere this type of relationships.
2. Look for a person that think alike about relationship
Meeting of 2 persons does not mean they share the same ideas about what a relationship means, or that they want same basic things from a relationship. If you want a relationship to end in a marriage, for example, and the other one doesn't want this, then is time to stop at this point, you will have only headaches and wasted time. You can have a lot in common and time spent together can be wonderful, but when the commitment day comes, you will be disappointed. If you want something serious, doesn't mean all people want this. Almost all dating websites attract temporary relationships.
3. Watch out to appearances
At first date, almost all people are well behaved, they want to impress. They hint your thoughts and what you expect to hear [enjoy walks? great, me too; the sea? the same to me; religious person? me too;...]. These appearances can be deceiving, so watch out for them.
4. Safety measures
Before first meeting, we advice you to ask for at least 2 photos with that person, talk on the phone at least 2, 3 times, to overcome the fear or the shame, and to establish, on the same phone, the place, date and time of meeting. Choose a public place, crowded with people and keep your cell phone handy.
